MyEllevate and Trampoline Platysmaplasty:
MyEllevate is a necklift procedure that can lift your neck without any surgical incisions, often under local anesthesia. It takes about an hour of procedure time. MyEllevate is an updated version of the ICLED Necklift (Trampoline Platysmaplasty) performed by Dr. Keller, a Clinical Professor at UCLA, for over 9 years. Originated by a Beverly Hills Plastic Surgeon, the MyEllevate procedure provides a necklift for selected patients without any incisions. The procedure is performed under local anesthesia and takes approximately an hour to perform. Major revisions of the procedure allow the surgeon to obtain superior results. The procedure first places small needle holes around the platysma muscle bands. Sutures placed around the muscle through the needle holes, allow the surgeon to use a delicate “sawing motion” to interrupt the muscle bands without any surgical incisions. Then, using non-absorbable sutures placed in a web fashion around the ligaments of the neck, the surgeon can lift the neck. The mechanism of lift is often described as “lacing up shoelaces” to pull the neck upward. Often the procedure is used with liposuction and/or FaceTite to improve the results of the procedure and to treat excess fat in the neck. It is important to assess the patients expectations, the condition of their skin, and the laxity of the neck.
